It's a cold-process soap bar made with locally sourced goats' milk from Amazing Acres Goat Dairy. The milk helps to provide some protein for your hair. This bar creates a rich thick lather that washes hair and scalp without stripping oils. The therapeutic grade essential oil blend of lavender and peppermint smell wonderful and gender neutral but also help with scalp health. This bar can be used on all hair types and rinses clean, leaving hair soft and full of volume. Gradually reduce the amounts of washing from daily to a few times per week for improved hair health.

Tips and Tricks for use: If you have been using a commercial shampoo containing silicone, it may take several washes over the course of a week or two to remove all of the residue that is coating the hair shafts. One wash may leave your hair feeling sticky- the shampoo bar is starting the process of breaking down the silicone coating, so wash your hair twice the first time using this shampoo bar. Using an apple cider vinegar rinse may help accelerate the process of uncoating your hair as well. Also consider rinsing hair in cool water to help the hair shaft cuticle to lay flat to help with texture. Once hair is dry, it will feel softer. If you have hard water, an apple cider vinegar rinse may be helpful to detangle. Simply add a 50/50 vinegar to water ratio into a spray bottle, spray hair and then rinse. Very dry or very long hair may benefit from conditioning but do not use conditioners with silicone.
